Word of the Day – 7th June

Today’s word is “conventional”.

I found it in my book “Necropolis” by Anthony Horowitz in the sentence, “It might not be conventional but it was clearly for the best”.

To be conventional means based on or in accordance with what is generally done; following social conventions; not individual or adventurous.
